'Love, Sex & Death' Alice Armstrong EP CD (2023)

£10.00
sold out

“The story of life, beautifully crafted and delivered with panache” - Blues in Britain

Love, Sex & Death is Armstrong’s debut EP released in 2023 to critical acclaim. The first in a planned EP trilogy, it is followed by Fury & Euphoria (2025) and an as-of-yet unreleased third EP and will culminate in a compilation vinyl in 2027.

Featuring six original songs that contemplate the nature of human life, this record is the heavier blues-rock content of the series and an excellent example of Armstrong’s earlier writing style. The CD sold out in under 24 hours, leading to a restock that sold out in only a couple of days.

This EP is the only release of Armstrong’s to include her original guitarist and collaborator Matt Long, who sadly passed away in 2024 at the age of 29. It contains several songs co-written with Long and displays his powerful and adroit rock-infused playing style. He is missed.

Armstrong originally trained as a visual artist, this CD digipack cover was created and designed by her.
