Live Session at
BBC Maida Vale Studios
for BBC Radio 2

In the summer of 2025, Alice and her band were invited to record a live session at the legendary BBC Maida Vale Studios for BBC Radio 2. Known for its rich musical history and iconic live sessions, the studio has recorded the likes of David Bowie, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Queen, Radiohead, The White Stripes, Bob Marley, Beyoncé and Pink Floyd.

The session was broadcast on Cerys Matthews’ Monday show, and featured some originals and one cover, including a performance of “Good Love”, Alice’s funk-infused single from her new EP Fury & Euphoria. Backed by powerhouse musicians Kev Hickman (drums), Josh Rigal (bass), Olly Knight-Smith (guitar), and Greg Coulson (keys), the short set was punctuated by questions and discussion with Cerys.

The appearance followed a string of sold-out headline shows and festival slots across Europe and the UK, and reflected Alice’s growing recognition beyond the blues scene. Soon after the session aired, “Good Love” was added to the BBC Radio 2 playlist.

Stepping into such a historic space was a proud moment for the entire band, especially as independent musicians. The opportunity served as a reminder of how far they’ve come, and how much further there is to go.
